
The boys varsity basketball team earned a 78-71 win at North Baltimore. The Wildcats won the 3rd quarter, 27-14, to take the advantage. Luke Morris and Brady Thatcher each scored 28 points while Brody Ish added 15. The JV team lost, 35-22, as Camdyn Schwartz scored 8 points.

Tjhe HS boys basketball teams lost games at home to St. Mary CC - the varsity lost, 64-40, as Brady Thatcher scored 14 points and Luke Morris added 12 points; the JV team lost, 35-26, as Gavin Donley scored 13 points and Camdyn Schwartz contributed eight points.

The HS boys wrestling team placed 11th in the Thunderbird Invite in Lima with 90.5 points. Woodmore had four placers - Jack Caldwell was third at 175 pounds, Wyatt Thieroff (106) and Brant Deal (150) both placed fourth, and Michael Seeger was seventh at 190 pounds.

The girls HS basketball teams earned home wins over St. Joseph Central Catholic. Cameran Quisno scored 16 points and Kelsey Kaylor added 10 points as the varsity won, 39-38; the JV won, 26-3, in two quarters as Anastasia Pietrowski scored 9 points and Abbie Schmeltz 8 points.

The boys HS basketball teams swept at St. Joseph CC - the JV team won, 45-41, as Gavin Donley scored 22 points; and the varsity won, 71-57, as Luke Morris scored 31, Brady Thatcher 15, and Brody Ish 14.

The boys HS basketball team will play only a JV and varsity game tomorrow (Jan. 25) when they travel to St. Joseph Central Catholic. There will NOT be a freshman game played tomorrow. The JV game will begin at 5:30, followed by the varsity contest.

The girls varsity basketball team earned a 33-26 win at Old Fort as Kara Schneider scored 14 points and Cameran Quisno added 10 points. The JV team was a 23-6 winner in a 2-quarter game.

The HS girls basketball games tonight at Old Fort will be played as scheduled with the 2-quarter JV game starting at 5:30.

The HS boys basketball teams lost games at home to Old Fort - the varsity lost a 67-19 decision as Luke Morris scored nine points; the JV team lost, 53-10, as Camdyn Schwartz scored four points.

The HS girls wrestling team was 5th in the Ross Inivite today with 63 points. Satori Alter won the 155-pound weight class going 4-0, winning the title bout by technical fall. Stella Strong (140) finished 3rd with a 3-1 record and Caydie Buchanan (135) was 4th with a 3-2 mark.

The varsity and JV boys basketball games cancelled tonight at home vs. Old Fort have been re-scheduled for Monday (Jan. 22) with the JV game statrting at 5:30, followed by the varsity contest.

The varsity and JV boys basketball games this evening (Jan. 19) vs. Old Fort at home have been cancelled.

The girls varsity basketball team defeated New Riegel, 46-35, in a Sandusky Bay Conference River Division game. Senior Cameran Quisno led the way with 18 points hitting five three-point field goals, while sophomore Kelsey Kaylor scored 11 points.

The girls JV basketball team earned a 19-7 win at home over New Riegel in a two-quarter contest. Freshman Emma Hahn and sophomore Anastasia Pietrowski both scored four points.

As a reminder, the second quarter ends tomorrow, so we will have a 2 hour early release on Friday, January 19th!


The high school girls wrestling team had five winners in their dual meet at home with Port Clinton this evening. Winning matches was senior Caydie Buchanan, junior Stella Strong, junior Addison Overmyer, sophomre Satori Alter, and freshman Mallory Meggitt.
