The girls soccer team won 7-0 at Port Clinton. Kelsey Kaylor had 3 goals and an assist and Izzy Helmke had a goal and an assist. Emma Hahn, Bailey Meggitt, and Karli Heins also had goals. Rylie Hesselbart, Wren Lewis, and Willow Lewis had assists. WHS goalkeepers had 3 saves.
The JV boys golf team lost a dual match at Sugar Creek GC to Genoa, 201-205. TJ Cunningham shot 44 to lead Woodmore. Avery Reiser shot 49, Bowen Ish 51, John Schreck and Nathan Larrison both shot 55, Liam Combs and Dillon Fulweber both shot 57.

All Woodmore athletic events scheduled for today (Sept. 17), home and away, will be played as scheduled.

The high school volleyball feams swept matches at Northwood - the varsity was a 25-23, 25-21, 25-20 winner while the JV won, 25-17, 25-16.
The boys golf team finished second in the SBC River Division Tournament at Eagles Landing GC with a 345 team total. Parker Boss shot 78 to place 4th and Mason Busdiecker shot 81 to tie for 7th. Brandon Kayser and Caden Hilt both shot 93, Kevin Wallace 98, and Keaston Mayo 102.
The girls golf team finished fifth in the SBC River Division Tournament at Eagles Landing GC with a 444 team total. Abbey Tucker shot 102 to tie for 11th-place. Lexi Martin shot 113, Satori Alter 114, Jordyn Dunn 115, Olivia Sentle 121, and Anastasia Unum 146.
The boys soccer team losts a 7-0 decision at Liberty Center as Jack Avers had five saves in goal.
The girls soccer team posted a 3-0 win over Perkins at home. Kelsey Kaylor scored two goals and Taylor Hill added the other. Izzy Helmke had two assists and Abbie Schmeltz made six saves in goal.
The HS volleyball team lost matches at home to Lakota - the varsity lost, 25-9, 26-24, 20-25, 25-13; the JV team lost, 25-10, 25-22.
The JV golf team lost a dual match to St. Mary CC at Sugar Creek GC, 212-213. Liam Combs and TJ Cunningham both shot 54 to lead Woodmore. Connar Squires shot 55, John Schreck 56, Avery Reiser 57, Dillon Fulweber 66, and Carter Halbeisen 71.
The MS boys cross country team won the Genoa Invite with 30 points as five runners finished in the top 10 led by Cohen Broud in second-place with a time of 11:50.66. Grace Blausey was the top female finisher in 32nd with a time of 15:18.47.
The HS boys cross country team finished sixth and the girls were fifth in the Genoa Invite. Myles Byrd was the top boys finisher in eighth-place with a time of 17:29.28 and Wren Lewis led the girls placing 20th in 22:12.48.
The JV football team earned a 44-16 win at home over Lakota. Ish Nagy had three scoring runs, Lucas Caldwel two scoring runs, and Mason McGee and Collin Perkins hooked up on a scoring pass play.
It's a sure sign Homecoming is happening soon - the HoCo Court was announced today! Congratulations Wildcats!!
The Homecoming festivities will happen the week of September 22nd with the game on the 26th - more information to come!

Earlier this week, Mr. McCarthy's class headed out into the community to work together as a team and practice navigating the community safely - all while picking up around the school! Awesome job, Wildcats! 💙💛






Both the girls and boys golf teams placed third in the Ottawa County Tournament at Eagles Landing GC. The girls had a 434 team total and the boys 346. Parker Boss was low for the boys shooting 83 to place fouth individually while Abbey Tucker shot 104 for the girls.
