
The girls soccer team lost a 3-1 decision on the road to Ottawa Hills. Taylor Hill scored the lone Woodmore goal in the first half to give the Wildcats a 1-0 lead at halftime. Lyndee Wagner had four saves in goal.

The boys high school cross country team finished 5th and the girls team did not have a team score in the SBC Championships at Tiffin. Brady Thatcher finished 13th to lead the boys team and Addison Lowry was 14th in the girls race for the Wildcats.

The JV football team lost 35-28 to Calvert at home. Ish Nagy have two scoring runs and Caden Hilt hit Logan Gronwall twice with scoring passes.

The high school volleyball teams split matches at home with Oak Harbor - the JV team won, 25-20, 25-19; the varsity team lost, 25-14, 25-16, 26-24.

The varsity football team lost a 51-21 decision at Tiffin Calvert in Sandusly Bay Conference River Division play. The two teams traded scores for most of two quarters until Calvert scored the final 30 points. Landon Rich rushed for 162 yards on 23 carries for the Wildcats.

The high school volleyball teams lost matches at Danbury - the varsity lost, 25-17, 25-16, 25-16; the JV team lost, 25-21, 25-20.

The JV girls soccer team lost to Perrysburg, 2-1, as Emma Hahn had the Woodmore goal and Abbie Schmeltz had five saves in goal.

The girls soccer team earned a 9-0 win at home over Tiffin Columbian. Bailey Meggitt and Kalle Heins each scored 2 goals. Willow Lewis, Valerie Kerecz, Emma Hahn, Alivia Smith, and Kara Schneider added goals. Heins had 2 assists while Lewis, Smith and Hahn each had an assist.

We have some awesome Marching Band updates from the start of this year!
The Woodmore Wildcats Marching Band started their contest season by performing in Class C at Perkins HS (Sandusky) on Sept. 21 and at Springfield HS (Holland/Toledo) on Sept. 28. At Perkins they earned an Excellent Rating (two) and took 3rd Place in Class B/C combined. Results were just as good at Springfield with trophies for 2nd Place in Class C and Best Auxiliary (Flag Corps) in Class C; and also an Excellent Rating.
The Band presented their full contest show at halftime on the Saturday, October 5th game and also had the Woodmore Band Alumni join them for pregame and halftime music. Their third and final local contest will be on October 19 at Maumee HS at 5:15PM!

The Contemporary World Issues class at Woodmore High School is kicking off a small but impactful project aimed at making a difference in our community. From October 7th to October 18th, we will be collecting donations for local food pantries in Elmore and Woodville.
Students can bring in donations to their class advisor to be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a basket filled with fun items! Community members are also welcome to donate! You may bring any non-perishable goods to the Main Office at the High School.

The varsity football team moved to 4-2 on the season with a 24-20 win at home over Cincinnati College Praparatory Academy. Woodmore led 14-8 at halftime and never trailed in the second half. Landon Rich accounted for most of the Wildcat offense runnning 32 times for 232 yards.

The girls soccer team posted a 4-0 win at home over Liberty Center. Kalle Heins, Keira Travis, Camille Strong, and Willow Lewis each had goals. Strong also had three assists. Kara Schneider had seven saves in the goal

The high school volleyball teams swept St. Mary Central Catholic at home on senior night - the varsity won, 25-21, 25-17, 25-6; the JV team won, 25-16, 21-25, 25-22.
