The varsity baseball team lost an 11-1 decision at Elmwood in five innings. Calvin Lipstraw had two of the five Wildcat hits. Elmwood scored all 11 runs in the first inning.

The varsity baseball game at Elmwood this afternoon WILL be played as scheduled . It is a 5 p.m. start.

The home varsity softball and JV baseball games at Woodmore this afternoon have been cancelled. Elmwood thinks, at this point, that the varsity baseball game at Elmwood has a good chance to be played. Will know more by 2.

The home baseball and softball games today vs. New Riegel have been cancelled and re-scheduled for April 22.

The boys were second and the girls third in an SBC River Division quad track meet at Hopewell-Loudon. Adyn Smith won the pole vault and was on the winning 1600 relay team. Willow and Wren Lewis each won a running event and were on two winning relay teams.

The varsity baseball team earned a 7-5 win at home over North Baltimore. Michael Seeger earned the win as the second pitcher working three innings. He also had one hit and an RBI. Trace Murphy had one hit and an two RBI. Harry LaMunyon had two hits and an RBI.

The varsity softball team opened its season with a 13-3 win at home over North Baltimore in 5 innings. Olivia Scavio earned the win tossing five innings with four strikeouts. Emmaleigh Lawrence had two hits and drove in five runs while Payton Whitcum had two hits and four RBI.

The varsity baseball and softball games today at Lakota have been cancelled and re-scheduled for April 15.

The varsity baseball team opened the season with a 17-0 win at Northwood in five innings. Trace Murphy tossed a no-hitter with eight strikeouts and eight different players had hits. Michael Seeger and Murphy both had two hits, three runs scored, and three RBI.

The start time for the varsity baseball game today at Northwood has been pushed back to 1 p.m. The bus will leave the high school at 11:30.

Today our freshmen girls attended the Young Women Lead event at Kalarhari. Their time was spent in breakout sessions centered around reaching higher levels of growth in development and leadership. The chaperones shared that the girls "made us proud today!" Great job, Wildcats!


This is a reminder that Woodmore does not have school on Friday April 18th and Monday April 21st!


Junior Landon Rich lost his first two matches in the D3 state wrestling tournament to fall out of the tournament. He lost 9-6 and 14-7 decisions. He finishes the season with a 38-15 record. He is the first Wildcat state qualifier since 2014. Congratulations on your season.

The high school ended their day today with a clap out for Wrestling State Qualifier, Landon Rich, and alternates Michael Seeger and Wyatt Thieroff. Congratulations and good luck Wildcats!

The girls wresrling team did not have a state qualifier from the district meet at Findlay as Addison Overmyer (125) and Stella Strong (140) both went 1-2 in the tournament and Satori Alter had a 2-2 record. Congratulations to all three for being district qualifiers.

The boys wrestling team has six athletes still alive after the first day of the D3 district meet at Rossford. Landon Rich (165) and Wyatt Thieroff (120) were both 2-0. Aiden Cordy (132), DJ Orcelletto (144), Michael Seeger (195), and Bailey Jendrzejak (215) were all 1-1.
