The boys HS track team placed 10th in the Lakota Invite with 19 points. Drake Blausey finished third in the 800 and was on two relays that placed. Landon Rich placed in the 100 and 200 and on a relay team. Myles Byrd was seventh in the 800 and on two relays that placed.
The HS girls track team placed second at the Lakota Invite with 109 points as Azure Travis won both hurdle events and Emma Hammer won the 800. The Wildcats had five runner-up finishes and four third-place finishes.
The varsity baseball team earned a 4-1 win at Port Clinton. Trace Murphy tossed a complete game allowing 5 hits, no earned runs while striking out 16. Joshua Crowell had an RBI double, Luke Avers an RBI single, and Parker Hahn an RBI sac fly.
The varsity softball team earned a 3-0 win at Port Clinton. Cameran Quisno tossed a complete game allowing one hit and she had 16 strikeouts. Kara Schneider had two hits and an RBI while Quisno also had two hits.
The JV baseball team dropped a 6-4 decision at home to Cardinal Stritch. Griffin Thomas and Blane Overmyer pitched allowing 4 hits, 2 earned runs and struck out 7. Overmyer was 4-4 at the plate with an RBI, Wesley Kayser had an RBI double, and Adley Anstead had an RBI single.

Today is Paraprofessional Appreciation Day, and we wanted to make sure that we thanked our INCREDIBLE team of Paras! We are so grateful for them and the support they provide for our Wildcats every day!

The Woodmore National Honor Society is hosting their 5th annual 3v3 Basketball Tournament to raise money for the Engaging Opportunities Foundation! Teams will need to have at least one member who is 14 (otherwise open for all ages), and each roster can have up to 5 members. Each team will be guaranteed two games that will be played half court with two ten minute halves.
The cost is $50 per team, payable by cash or check (make out to Woodmore NHS). You can register via the link below, or by stopping in to the high school office and filling out a paper registration form. All registrations should be submitted by April 12th at 3PM. At that time, brackets will be built.
Spectators are welcome to watch from the balcony! There is a $1 admission charge for anyone not playing in the tournament. Doors will open at noon with play beginning at 1PM. If you have any questions, please contact the NHS advisor, Mrs. Hintz, at ehintz@woodmoreschools.com.

The HS boys track and field team was third in a tri-meet at Hopewell-Loudon with 24 points. Adyn Smith won the pole vault (9-6), Landon Rich won the 200 (25.99), and the 1600 relay team won in 4:10.36 - Myles Byrd, Drake Blausey, Keith Gillingham, and Ethan Greer.
The girls HS track and field team won a tri-meet at Hopewell-Loudon with 58 points. Seven different athletes won indivudal events and two relays (3200, 1600) were victorious. Emma Hammer, Azure Travis, and Addie Pleasnick won events and were on winning relay teams.
The varsity baseball team lost a 6-3 decision at Gibsonburg. Woodmore had just three hits - senior Luke Avers a double and RBI, and singles from Michael Seeger and Harry LaMunyon. Three Woodmore pitchers yielded two earned runs and struck out six.
