
The midddle school boys basketball teams split on the road at St. Mary CC - the 8th grade won, 41-23, as Ish Nagy scored 20 points and Collin Perkins added 11 points; the 7th grade lost, 47-13, as Jack Avers scored five points.

The midde school girls basketball teams split home games with St. Mary CC - the 8th grade won, 44-16, as Payton Whitcum scored 14 points and Karli Heins added nine points; the 7th grade lost, 38-20, as Myra Huss scored 10 points and Samantha Alarcon scored six points.

The JH girls wrestling team had two champions at the Bryan Invite. Tinley Thieroff won at 86 pounds and Hope Scherger was the champ at 128. Vida Hernandez was second at 116 pounds and Elena Rief was fourth at 98 pounds. Arieanna Blackmore wrestled at 110 pounds.

The girls HS wrestling team was 18th of 27 teams in the Bryan Invitational. Caydie Buchanan placed 5th at 140 pounds (3-2 record) and Satori Alter was 6th at 170 pounds (2-3). Mallory Meggitt (2-2, 115), Addison Overmyer (0-2, 120), and Stella Strong (1-2, 145) also wrestled.

The freshman boys basketball team lost a 46-39 decision at home to New Riegel this morning. Bradley Fetzer and Gavin Donley both scored 11 points. Calvin Lipstraw added seven points.

This coming Thursday, December 14th, the PTO will be hosting the annual Santa Shop! Information should have gone home with your student this past week - please reach out to your child's teacher if you did not get the form.

We have another opportunity for you to get in the holiday spirit! Our 2nd grade students are putting on a performance called On With the Snow this coming Tuesday, December 12th, at 6:30 PM in the Elementary Cafetorium! We hope to see you there!

The girls varsity basketball team lost a 49-45 decision at home in overtime to Old Fort. Woodmore was led by 13 points from Kelsey Kaylor and 12 points from Kara Schneider. The game was tied at 45 at the end of regulation.

The JV girls basketball team earned a 21-7 two-quarter win over Old Fort at home. Sophomore Kiera Travis scored six points, sophomore Izzy Helmke added five points and junior Lilian Runion and sophomore Anastasia Pietrowski each scored four.

The 8th grade girls basketball team was a 43-6 winner at St. Joseph CC. Karli Heins scored 11 points and Olivia Schreck added nine points.

The 7th grade girls basketball team lost a 30-14 decision at St. Jospeh CC. Samantha Alarcon led Woodmore with six points. Myra Huss and Alexys Becerra each added three points.

The 8th grade boys basketbal team earned a 27-25 win over home over St. Joseph CC. Ish Nagy led the Wildcats with eight points while Collin Perkins and Caden Hilt each added seven points.

The boys JV basketball team lost 56-30 at home to New Riegel. Freshman Gavin Donley scored 14 points to lead Woodmore.

The boys varsity basketball team lost a 62-53 decision at home to New Riegel. Luke Morris led Woodmore with 22 points while Brady Thatcher added 12 points and Izaiah Wilson added 10 points. The game was tied at 50 with 5:16 remaining.

Over the weekend, Autumn Beaudoin, a Woodmore High School Class of 2021 Alumni, was part of a National Championship team! Autumn is a junior forward on the Bethel Pilots Women's Soccer team. The Pilots won their first National Championship winning 1-0 in the championship match. Bethel competes at the NCCAA Division 1 level. Congratulations Autumn!
