The vasity softball team was a 25-5 winner at home over Ottawa Hills in five innings. Olivia Scavio pitched all five innings with four strikeouts and had five hits, a double, and eight RBI. Kara Schneider, Camile Strong, and Kelsey Kaylor all had three hits.

The MS boys track team won a quad meet at home with 124 points while the girls were second with 63.5 points. The boys team won or were second in 15 of the 16 events and had six different athletes win events. Peyton Damschroder won the 800 and 1600 for the girls.

The varsity baseball team earned a 9-8 win at home over Lakota scoring seven runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. The tying and winning runs scored on a Michael Seeger fielder's choice. Robert Seeger had two hits and Calvin Lipstraw had two RBI.

The varsity softball team lost an 8-5 decision at home to Lakota. Taylor Hill pitched the entire game with three strikeouts. Kara Schneider had two hits and three RBI. Kelsey Kaylor and Olivia Scavio both had three hits.

Our second grade students performed their Wax Museum today! They each picked an historical figure, learned about them, prepared a speech about their life, and then dressed up as their person to perform their speech for parents, community members, other teacher, and fellow Wildcats! We love this event every year! And, of course, they did great!! 🩵💛

The girls high school track team won a quad meet at Gibsonburg, the boys were second to the host school. Lilian Runion won two events (100, long jump) and was on a winning relay team. Landon Rich won the 100 and 200 and was on a winning relay team.

The varsity baseball team earned a 2-1 win at home over New Riegel. Calvin Lipstraw pitched five innings and Keil Almroth finshed the last two innings. Trace Murphy singled in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning after Lipstraw led off with a double.

The varsity softball team lost a tough 3-2 decision at home to New Riegel. Olivia Scavio went the distance on the mound striking out four. Woodmore scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh to force extra innings. Payton Whitcum stroked a two-out, two-run double in the 7th.

The JV baseball team was a 24-1 winner at Danbury in five innings. Griffin Thomas pitched all five innings allowing four hits and striking out 10. Noah Day and Mason McGee both had two hits and scored three runs. Dylan Schave and Ryne Donley both had two hits and three RBI.

The JV baseball team lost a 9-0 decision to Hopewell-Loudon at home. Andrew Drill and Adley Anstead had the Woodmore hits. Keegan Strong started and went 3.0 innings while Parker Boss and Mason McGee also pitched.

The varsity softball team earned a 15-14 win at Hopewell-Loudon. The Wildcats scored six runs in the 7th inning, then held on for the win. Taylor Hill started, then Olivia Scavio pitched 1 inning before Hill got the last two outs. Kelsey Kaylor had three hits and three RBI.

The varsity baseball team lost a 4-2 decision at Hopewell-Loudon. Woodmore was held to three hits. Harry LaMunyon had a hit and RBI as did Robert Seeger. Trace Murphy started and went 5.1 innings while Keil Almroth finished up.

The varsity baseball and softball games today at Hopewell-Loudon and the JV baseball at home vs. Hopewell-Loudon will be played as scheduled.

All HS athletic events today (April 19) - track and field at the Liberty Center Invite, varsity baseball hosting Monreoville, and varsity softball at Northwood - have been cancelled.

The JV baseball team defeated Arcadia at home, 14-4, in five innings. Ryne Donley started and got the win going 4.1 innings allowing three earned runs and striking out eight. Andrew Drill had three hits and three RBI while Adley Anstead had two hits and three RBI.

The MS boys track team was 6th at the Lakota Invite, the girls were 8th. Peyton Damschroder was third in both the 800 and 1600 for the best finish for the girls. Lucas Caldwell won the 200, was second in the 400, and third in the 200 to lead the boys.
