The middle school girls basketball teams lost games at Gibsonburg - the 7th grade lost, 44-6, as Emilee Barr and Lacey Schultze each scored two points; the 8th grade lost, 34-18, as Sonia Alarcon scored five points and Olivia Sentle added four points.

The midlde school boys basketball teams swept Gibsonburg on the road - the 7th grade won, 42-25, as Grayson Thatcher scored 12 points and Chase Allen added 10 points.; the 8th grade won, 24-16, as Bowen Ish scored eight points and Owen Herrig added six points.

The freshman boys basketball team earned a 50-34 win at home over Northwood. Mason McGee scored 16 points and Parker Boss added 13 points.

The varsity girls basketball team earned a 43-33 win on the road at Hopewell-Loudon. Ariana Florio led Woodmore with 12 points and Kelsey Kaylor scored nine points. The JV team won, 23-12, as Karli Heins scored six points.

The varsity boys basketball team lost a 59-28 decision at home to Tiffin Calvert. Brady Thatcher led the Wildcats with 11 points. The JV team lost, 43-35, as Ish Nagy scored 10 points. The freshman team lost, 33-26, as Parker Boss scored 16 points.

The varsity girls wrestling team was second in the 17-school Woodmore Invite with 89 points, 12 less than Fremont Ross. The Wildcats had four champions - Addison Overmyer (130), Hope Scherger (135), Stella Strong (140), and Satori Alter (155).

The middle school girls wrestling team finished second in the Wodomore Invite with 59 points, eight less than Fremont Ross. Tinley Thieroff (98) and Reagan Walper (128) both won their weight class. Harmony Kroetz was second at 122 pounds.

The boys varsity wrestling team was the team champion of its own "A" Classic. The Wildcats had one champion - Gavin Herrig (157); and five runner-ups - Quincy Millerschone, Aiden Cordy, Landon Rich, Micahel Seeger, and Bailey Jendrzejak.

The varsity girls basketball team eaned a 43-36 win at home over Lake. Kara Schneider scored 20 points. The JV team won 38-19 behind 17 points from Abbie Schmeltz.

The high school girls wrestling team placed third in the 21-school Marion Harding Classic. Stella Strong won the 140-pound weight class. Vida Hernandez (120), Hope Scherger (135), and Satori Alter (155) placed second. Addison Overmyer was third at 130 pounds.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to our Drama Club Supporters! We met on Friday, December 20 for a fun night of pizza, cookie decorating and games. All students received their scripts for "Once Upon a Mattress." Rehearsals will be in full swing beginning in January. We invite you all to join us for a performance on either March 20, 21, 22 or 23.
