The girls soccer team went on the road for a 6-1 win over Edison. Kelsey Kaylor had three goals while Izzy Helmke, Valerie Kerecz, and Taylor Hill also had goals. Willow Lewis had three assists and Karli Heins one. Abbie Schmeltz had three saves in goal.
The varsity boys golf team finished seventh in an SBC Shootout at Catawba Island Club with a 201 team score. Kevin Wallace shot 46 to lead the Wildcats. Parker Boss shot 49, Brandon Kayser 50, Keaston Mayo 56, Jacob Younfless 57, and Caden Hilt 64.
The boys high school cross country team finished 14th and the girls team 16th in the Darrin Goodman Invite hosted by Eastwood. Myles Byrd was the top male finisher in 65th-place with a time of 19:31.24. Wren Lewis was the fastest Wildcat female in 57th-place in 22:17.53.
The football team scored eight times in the first half to build a 50-0 halftime edge at home over North Central and went on to post a 57-0 win to open the season. Wesley Kayser caught two scoring passes and Michael Seeger and Landon Rich both had two rushing touchdowns.
The varsity volleyball team posted a four-set win over Danbury at home. The Wildcats won, 25-19, 24-26, 25-23, 26-24.

Thehigh school volleyball teams opened the season at Genoa this morning. The JV team lost 25-12, 25-16. The varsity lost 25-13, 25-10, 14-25, 25-23.
