It's officially Spring Break! 🌷Stay safe and warm and we will see everyone back on Monday, March 31st!

Today our freshmen girls attended the Young Women Lead event at Kalarhari. Their time was spent in breakout sessions centered around reaching higher levels of growth in development and leadership. The chaperones shared that the girls "made us proud today!" Great job, Wildcats!

This is a reminder that Woodmore will have a 2 Hour Early Release on Friday, March 21st for the end of the 3rd quarter!

Don't forget! There will be no school tomorrow, Tuesday, March 11th for District Professional Development.

Junior Landon Rich lost his first two matches in the D3 state wrestling tournament to fall out of the tournament. He lost 9-6 and 14-7 decisions. He finishes the season with a 38-15 record. He is the first Wildcat state qualifier since 2014. Congratulations on your season.
The high school ended their day today with a clap out for Wrestling State Qualifier, Landon Rich, and alternates Michael Seeger and Wyatt Thieroff. Congratulations and good luck Wildcats!

The girls wresrling team did not have a state qualifier from the district meet at Findlay as Addison Overmyer (125) and Stella Strong (140) both went 1-2 in the tournament and Satori Alter had a 2-2 record. Congratulations to all three for being district qualifiers.
The boys wrestling team has six athletes still alive after the first day of the D3 district meet at Rossford. Landon Rich (165) and Wyatt Thieroff (120) were both 2-0. Aiden Cordy (132), DJ Orcelletto (144), Michael Seeger (195), and Bailey Jendrzejak (215) were all 1-1.
The boys wrestling team was the 2nd in the Div. III sectional with and had seven wrestlers advance to the distict meet. Wyatt Thieroff (120) and Bailey Jendrzejak (215) were sectional champs and Aiden Cordy, DJ Orcelletto, Gavin Herrig, Landon Rich, and Michael Seeger advanced.

The girls wrestling team will has three athletes advancing to next week's district meet at Findlay HS. Addison Overmyer (125) and Stella Strong (140) both finished second in their weight class and Satori Alter finished third at 155 pounds.
The boys basketball team lost its Div. VI sectional game at Mohawk, 80-37. Brady Thatcher led the Wildcats with 13 points.
The varsity girls basketball team lost a 51-44 decision to Carey in the Div. VI district semifinals at Bowling Green HS. Camille Strong led seven Wildcat scorers with 10 points.
Woodmore High School had three students attend the Business Sector Career Camp of Sandusky County on Wednesday, February, 12. Students started their day at Terra CC for some hands-on group activities and then travelled to Fremont Federal Credit Union and Roots Poultry to learn how those businesses are run. Cyriana Huerta, Baylee Neff, and Alexis McCormick represented Woodmore HS very well!


Woodmore High School's Key Club has partnered with the Kiwanis Club of Elmore to collect new or gently used shoes. A collection box is in the high school lobby.
Clean out your closet and bring your used shoes to support our shoe drive! Shoes will be collected through April 4th.

The boys wrestling team won the SBC River Division team title with 10 wrestlers who placed in the league meet at Norwalk. Michael Seeger (190) and Landon Rich (165) were second in their weight class. Waytt Thieroff (120) and Gavin Herrig (157) placed third.
The girls basketball team advanced in the Div. VI state tournament with a 56-18 win at home over Northwood. Juniors Camille Strong and Kelsey Kaylor led the way with 12 points each. Woodmore will play the winner of Carey/Cardinal Stritch Thursday at 6 at Bowling Green HS.
The varsity boys basketball team lost a 75-55 decision at Gibsonburg. Brady Thatcher scored 29 points and Izaiah Wilson 12. The JV won, 59-52, as Collin Perkins scored 17 points and Brandon Kayser 15. The freshman lost 44-34 at Northwood. Parker Boss and Ryne Donley scored 9.
