For children living within the Woodmore Local School District, there will be a free
developmental screening. This screening is for children ages birth to 5* and will be held
on the morning of April 24, 2023, by appointment only.
Children will be evaluated in the areas of vision, motor development, concept
development, hearing and communication. This event is sponsored by the Woodmore
Local School District in partnership with the Ottawa County Board of Developmental
Disabilities and the Sandusky County Board of Developmental Disabilities.

Identification documents will be required for assessment to take place. This will include the
child’s birth certificate, the parent’s ID, proof of residency and custody documents (if applicable).
The screenings for each age group will take place at Woodmore Schools’ Pk-8 building in Woodville.
*Children that are enrolling kindergarten for the 23-24 school year are not eligible for this event. They will
be assessed at kindergarten screening in May. All appointments must be made by April 17, 2023
