Jan. 9 – Varsity - at Woodmore 50, Hopewell-Loudon 36. The Wildcats led 11-2 after one quarter and built as much as a 22-2 lead in the second quarter before settling for a 24-13 halftime edge. Hopewell-Loudon scored seven of the first nine points of the third quarter to pull within, 26-20, at the 3:59 mark. But, Woodmore would score the next nine ponts to take a 35-20 lead with 1:57 left in the third quarter and they were not threatened the rest of the way. Woodmore led 40-22 after three quarters. Junior Kelsey Kaylor led Woodmore with 17 points, including 3 three-pointers, while senior Kara Schneider added eight points. Wodomore had a 13-7 edge in two-point field goals and both teams canned four three-point field goals. Woodmore was 12-of-12 at the foul line while Hopewell-Loudon was 10-of-18. JV - Hopewell-Loudon 20, at Woodmore 19 (2 quarters). Hopewell-Loudon led, 9-7, after one quarter. Sophomore Emma Hahn scored six points.
