Dec. 9 - Junior running back Landon Rich earned a spot on the third-team offense on the Div. VI All-Ohio team as picked by the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association. Rich rushed for a school-record 1,823 yards this season averaging 7.0 yards per carry. He rushed for 18 touchdowns and also recorded two safeties to account for 112 points. He helped the Wildcats to a 5-5 record this season, qualifying for the OHSAA playoffs for the first time since 2001. The five wins were the most since 2013. Rich is the first football player to earn All-State honors since Evan Ulinski was an honorable mention selection in 2013. He is the first player to earn a spot on either the first-, second-, or third-team all-state squad since Kevin Slates was a second-team selection in 1999 as a receiver.
